Happy 4th of July!

We're all donning our RED, WHITE & BLUE this time of year to help celebrate our nation! Just a friendly reminder that according to the Town of Holden Beach ordinance, fireworks are not allowed on the island. But don't worry, you can still enjoy sparklers during your stay!  While the Town of Holden Beach does not offer an island fireworks display, here are a few local options for your family to enjoy.

Southport & Oak Island

NC 4th of July Festival and Fireworks - July 1 - July 4, 2024 (Check the festival website out for the week's full schedule.)

Ocean Isle Beach

Hobbs Tip: They also have a parade beginning at 10:00 AM on July 4, 2024, and a Holiday Market from 1:00-5:00 PM at 5 W Third Street.

Wilmington

Fireworks on the Wilmington Riverwalk - July 4, 2023, 9:05 PM

Hobbs Tip: Doors open at 5:00 PM with Family Fun, Music, and DJ Competitions; Wilmington Symphony Orchestra performs its Wilmington Pops! 4th of July Celebration at 7:30 PM (prior to fireworks)
