How do I use your website to search for a vacation rental?

There are a few different ways to search for a vacation rental property on our website. You can search by property name, property address, amenity, location, or property type. GuestWeb says my reservation is not confirmed but I made my payment. Is everything okay?

Hobbs Realty does not charge credit card payments on site or store credit card numbers. All payments are handled by Lynnbrook Group, a third party, fully PCI compliant credit card processing company. It can take up to 24 hours for your payment to be completely processed, going from your eSignature on GuestWeb, to the payment processor, and back to us. Please check the Account Summary on GuestWeb after the payment has had time to process, or feel free to call us at 1-800-655-3367 and we can update you at any time.

Is there a washer and a dryer on the premises?

All of Hobbs Realty Vacation properties are equipped with a washer and a dryer.

What are the requirements for the 10% Senior Citizens Discount?

Here at Hobbs, age has it's benefits! Many of our owners offer our senior guests, ages 65+, a 10% discount off regularly advertised rates, during off and value seasons, but you gotta' ask for it! No double dipping (these offers cannot be combined with other discounts or applied to cancellation by guest week)

What are the requirements for the 10% Small Family Discount?

According to the ever-helpful Siri, the size of the average American family is 3.14 people. Well, we here at Hobbs are not sure how you can have .14 people (person?), so we rounded our allowance up to four (4) people. Bring your 4 real people, or less, and request our Small Family Discount in participating homes during the off and value seasons. No double dipping (these offers cannot be combined with other discounts or applied to cancellation by guest week)! Gotta love those disclaimers!

How does the 10% Active Military/First Responder Discount work?

From sea to shining sea, cue the music and salute our active military personnel and first responders. This owner offers a 10% discount on all advertised rental rates, year round, as a big thank you to our Armed Forces for their tremendous service and sacrifice to our country. Valid, active ID must be shown at check-in. God bless America! No double dipping (these offers cannot be combined with other discounts or applied to cancellation by guest week)

If I book through a third party site like Airbnb, will you price match or honor discounts found on the website?

Please note that advertised rates, discounts and specials on are available for direct bookings only, and are not available on third party booking websites. For the best rates, always book direct with Hobbs Realty!

Are baby items included with the rental?

None of our rental properties advertise baby items but if you need these items for your stay, you may rent them from local vendors, such as Boomers Rentals or Beach Fun Rentals.

What does the Travel Insurance cover?

The Travel Insurance is a policy that refunds you if your reservation must be canceled due to a covered event. This includes events such as a medical emergency, a death in the family, a mandatory hurricane evacuation, etc. As Hobbs Realty offers this service through Generali/CSA Travel Protection, we urge you to call them at 866-999-4018 or view their coverage information on their website. Hobbs Realty does not offer refunds for and reason. We strongly suggest that our guests protect their travel investment with the purchase of Trip Interruption Travel Insurance.

When do pools open/close? Can the pool be heated?

Pools are open from Easter through October. Select properties provide heated pool service at an additional cost. Please contact our office for details.

What time is check-in and check-out? How about early check-in and late check-out?

We do our best to have all our rental homes ready by 4 PM on check-in day. Occasionally, due to unforeseen circumstances, we cannot meet that entry time. Check-out is at 10 AM. Based on availability, many of our rental properties offer an early check-in at 1 PM, or late check-out at 12 PM. This option is available for an additional $150 + tax. Please contact our office for availability.

Can I bring my pets?

We understand that pets are part of the family, too. Happily, we are able to offer your canine family members a place at the beach with our "bring your pooch" on vacation with you program. Visit our dog-friendly page for more information on participating properties. Sorry, Katie the Kitty will have to stay at home with friends. Doggie Dues of $400.00 apply when bringing two furry friends with you to the beach.

How do I bring my service animal on vacation?

Hobbs Realty is always happy to make reasonable accommodations for service dogs and assistance animals. Please learn about our service animal policy.

Do you have any handicap accessible properties?

While Hobbs Realty does not have any ADA compliant properties, we do have homes that are wheelchair friendly. We consider homes with elevators and ramps helpful for guests in wheelchairs. Please call our office for a complete listing of these homes.

Where can I park to walk to the beach?

The Town of Holden Beach offers public parking/restrooms under the Holden Beach Bridge. Take a left at the bottom of the bridge and then the next left on Jordan Boulevard and the parking lot is up ahead on the left.

What items are provided for the kitchen?

Are towels included?

Please plan to bring your own or rent towels as only a few homes in our program provide this amenity. Towels are only included in homes that offer our Welcome Package. This information will be listed in the property description and on the featured amenities of each property.

Do you offer long term rentals?

We offer a few select homes for rent on a 30-day/short-term basis during the off season. We do not offer annual leases. Please call our office for details.
