At Hobbs Realty, caring for people, our guests, our homeowners, our team, and our community, has always been at the center of who we are. As this season unfolds, we wanted to share a little bit about the heart behind the work happening here on the island.
Hospitality Heroes: Caring for the People Behind the Vacation
Every great beach memory starts long before guests arrive, through the hands and hearts of the hospitality workers who prepare, clean, repair, and support homes all season long. These men and women are the quiet backbone of every coastal vacation.
This season gives us a chance to pause and focus on what matters most… people, connection, and the care we share across our community. On Giving Tuesday, we’re honored to introduce you to the work happening through Hospitality Heroes, a new nonprofit created to support hospitality workers across America during moments of unexpected difficulty.
Hospitality Heroes was co-founded by our CEO, Rachele Hobbs, to stand beside the individuals who welcome, serve, and support others every day. These are the housekeepers who prepare spaces with intention, the inspectors who ensure every detail is just right, the maintenance technicians who show up with a smile no matter the hour, and the many service workers who help make every community feel welcome.
These team members are the heartbeat of hospitality, yet when natural disasters, medical emergencies, housing challenges, or sudden family crises arise, many are left without a safety net. Hospitality Heroes steps in with compassion and meaningful support, offering stability at a time when it is needed most.
This Giving Tuesday, we invite you to learn more about the mission that is inspiring a more caring future for the people who uplift others through their work each day. Hobbs Helping Hands: Serving Our Community All Season Long
Giving back has long been a part of life at Hobbs Realty. Through Hobbs Helping Hands, our team partners with local schools, churches, and community agencies to meet real needs throughout Brunswick County.
This season, that includes:
