Born and raised in Bellefontaine, Ohio, a small town surrounded by cornfields, Darien traded the Midwest for the Carolina coast in 2025! After vacationing in Sunset Beach for more than 20 years, she finally made one of her favorite places home.
With a Master's degree in Industrial/Organizational Psychology and a diverse background in teaching, ministry, and staffing, Darien brings a wonderful mix of experience and enthusiasm to the Hobbspitality Team. She jumped right into the hustle and bustle of peak season Saturdays and quickly discovered that the fast-paced environment was right up her alley!
Best Part of Hobbs Realty: I loved jumping right into those crazy peak season Saturdays! The nonstop pace is fun for me, and I especially enjoyed getting to know and work alongside our housekeepers and linens team!
After Hours: You'll most likely find me outdoors! I love camping, hiking, pickleball, sand volleyball, beach days, walking, and watching sports. When I'm back in Ohio, I especially enjoy spending time playing with my little brother and nephews.
Pursuits: Growing in my relationship with the Lord and seeking His wisdom and guidance so I can live out the plans He has for me, both now and in the future.
Alternate Dream Job: Owning a family farm, living off the land, and creating a place where I can lead a healing ministry for troubled youth.
Something Others May Not Know: I'm absolutely OBSESSED with Christmas! And yes, I listen to Christmas music all year long!
