North Carolina Oyster Festival

Check out the popular annual North Carolina Oyster Festival at neighboring Ocean Isle Beach, which dates back to 1978! Enjoy a variety of foods, crafts, contests, and musical performances at the Ocean Isle Beach Town Center Park. The Festival’s signature Oyster Shucking Contest is always held on Saturday. Bring a chair to sit back and enjoy live music featuring a variety of genres. Dancing is encouraged! 

A community night will kick off the weekend on Friday, October 17, from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. with a free concert by The Extraordinaires!

Saturday, October 18: 9:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m.  ||  Sunday, October 19: 10:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.

Festival Admissions:  $5 per Adult (CASH only please)  ||  FREE for children 12 years and under
