Except for the years Josh was away attending school in Virginia, then at Campbell and Appalachian State Universities, he's spent the majority of his life right here in his beloved Holden Beach where he was raised. His childhood memories definitely include Hobbs Realty as he recalls his many Saturdays blowing off sand from underneath rental homes before guest check-ins. Through the years, he’s helped out in most of the departments along the way and landed in Property Services as part of the awesome Hobbs Property Management Team!
Best Part of Hobbs Realty: The atmosphere and environment allows us to constantly challenge ourselves to be better and bring something new to the table. It’s rewarding to see your ideas and visions become a reality and learn from both failures and successes. I also love working in my hometown of Holden Beach with my family.
After Hours: Spending time with my family and my dogs, reading, watching sports, and playing computer games with friends.
Pursuits: I’d love to learn multiple languages.
Alternate Dream Job: When I was younger I always wanted to be an author. Now, I would work for an NBA team in player development, recruitment, sports medicine, or even as their assigned beat writer.
Something Others May Not Know: I’ve been skiing since I was five years old and I was once in the top 500 performers worldwide for an online game.
Inspired By: My parents. To see not only their accomplishments in business, family, and the community, but also how they’ve faced life with all of its challenges and uncertainties, is a huge inspiration to me.
