NOAA Weather Map Update September 9, 2017 8:00AM EST

9/8/17: Today is absolutely gorgeous, sunny with low humidity. Lots of folks are out enjoying the sunshine, surf and sand. The mayor of Holden Beach met earlier today with Brunswick County emergency offiicals, and while we are all keeping a watchful eye on Hurricane Irma, Town and County officials do not believe Holden Beach will be significantly impacted by Irma on its current path.
