Hobbspitality Field Maintenance

Cameron actually became part of the Hobbs Realty family years ago when he spent his summers on the island to help during the peak season. He became a full-time team member in the fall of 2020 as part of the #Hobbspitality Guest Services team.

While he was born in Livermore, California, Cameron moved to the Piedmont area of NC when he was nine years old. After graduating from Union College in Barboursville, KY as a student athlete (baseball) with a Business Administration degree, Cameron has worked a variety of jobs in both sales and service. He appreciates the opportunity to serve others.

Cameron’s role with Hobbs Realty is to ensure guests know the full #Hobbspitality experience during their stay. He is also committed to being an encouraging and supportive team member.

Best Part of Hobbs Realty: I love working at Hobbs because I feel appreciated, and I can directly see the impact I make on the ground. It feels good knowing people CAN and do rely on me!

After Hours: I love spending time with my beautiful wife and dogs! We have two pit bulls and they are as sweet as can be. My wife and I are enjoying our walk with Christ and make it a point to try to shine for others even when we feel dim.

Pursuits: In pursuing a righteous life, my goal is to continue to grow into a good leader and provider for my family and to continue building my character and understanding of leadership..

Alternate Dream Job: Sign me up for Anthony Bourdain’s job (RIP)! Travel plus good food and beverages equals the perfect combo!

Something Others May Not Know: I have always been mesmerized by the ocean and wanted to live out at sea for an extended period of time - maybe do a stint as an Alaskan fisherman or work on a cruise line.

Inspired By: It is no secret who inspires me — Denny Brookwell, my dad! If I am half the man he is, I will be doing really well… a man who never complains and has been the ultimate provider and caretaker for his family.

“Let us run with endurance the race that is set before us, looking unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith, who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.”
