Vacation Rental Whiz

Stephanie arrived in the United States 1 ½ years after her birth in Wurzburg, Germany. She was raised in Chillicothe, Ohio and later moved to Delaware, Ohio when she met her husband. She holds degrees in business and social and criminal justice, and her work experience has spanned the Ohio Automobile Dealers Association, a cable company, Gooseberry Patch, a library, and even retail. Stephanie has loved her family’s relocation to the coast and her arrival at 114 OBW in 2016!

Best Part of Hobbs Realty: The people I work with, meeting new people coming in to vacation, being so close to the beach…. and my view!

After Hours: I spend time with my family, gardening, painting, craft projects, DIY projects, and spending time with all of our animals - dogs, ducks, and horses!

Pursuits: Many home projects and updates in our home; learning how to play the cello; learning to speak French, Italian, and German; travel; and writing a book one day.

Alternate Dream Job: Fiction writer or a food critic for the Food Network

Something Others May Not Know: I have dual citizenships in the United States and Germany. I’m an animal and nature lover - as if that wasn’t obvious with my three dogs, three ducks and two horses (and three kids).

Inspired By: Nature - the beach, animals, trees, and flowers.  I could sit and watch my horses for hours.  Dian Fossey, a primatologist/anthropologist and gorilla activist, and Jane Goodall, a primatologist/anthropologist and the world's foremost expert on chimpanzees.
