In 1977, at age 23, Jimmy Hobbs began building homes in Holden Beach. Two years later, he founded Hobbs Realty with his father, James, and they expanded the business into sales and property management, relying on extensive local knowledge and personal dedication to the goals and satisfaction of clients as the foundations for success.

As a result of their dedication, Hobbs Realty and our extended family of loyal clients have grown steadily over the years. Today, three generations of our family are working together and applying the same principals in achieving excellence for our customers. Both are majoring in Business Management, preparing to continue our family tradition well into the future. Bethany and Joshua are both in high school, each with an eye toward the future of Hobbs Realty and Holden Beach.
