As a native to the area around the South Brunswick Islands, I’ve always appreciated the natural beauty and serenity the beach offers. I began building homes on Holden Beach in 1977 when I was 23 years old. In these two years my father James and I realized the potential for the real estate market on Holden Beach and founded Hobbs Realty. As the business grew, we branched out into sales and property management. I continue to serve as a Resort Property Investment Specialist and often work with the children of some of our most tenured clients. Our business has always been personal; it started with my family and continues to grow and blossom with my children as three generations of our family work together. I manage Hobbs Realty with my beautiful wife of 23 years, Rachele, along with the third generation of Hobbs. Our oldest, Tiffany and James II, work diligently to balance their time between college academics and their growing involvement in the company. Tiffany, a senior in college, and James II, a sophomore are both majoring in Business Management in efforts to ensure the future success of Hobbs Realty and Holden Beach. Bethany and Joshua attend West Brunswick High School and each have an eye toward continuing the family tradition well into the future.
